Casa Ceibo has established itself in the upper echelon of boutique travel hotels, and many organizations worldwide are taking note. Since Casa Celebrated its official grand opening in Fall 2009, it has received major accolades, awards and accreditations from the following:

• American Academy of Hospitality Sciences: As the first recipient of the Green Star Diamond Award in all of South America, Casa Ceibo has set a new standard for progressive five-star hospitality in this region of the world. This AAHS award celebrates Casa Ceibo’s successful mission — one that's built around environmental, cultural and social consciousness while delivering an exceptionally luxurious resort experience.

• Smart Voyager: Because of the hotel’s contribution to the community and environment, Casa Ceibo is now certified by Smart Voyager. This Ecuadorian program gives its green seal of approval to hotels for meeting strict conservation and sustainability guidelines. Smart Voyager Certification signals to consumers that their dollars are not contributing to the exploitation of labor and the environment.

• Ecuador’s Ministry of Tourism: Because of Casa Ceibo’s successful contribution to tourist development, in addition to its honor from the AAHS, Ecuador’s Ministry of Tourism has recognized Casa Ceibo for its excellence in the category of “Hotels.” Among other goals, Ecuador’s Ministry of Tourism works to promote and manage sustainable tourism development, while improving the competitive nature of the tourism industry.

• Chaîne de Rôtisseurs: Casa Ceibo is thrilled to be the founding member in Ecuador of this elite, international gastronomical society. Established in 1950, the Chaîne is dedicated to creating an international community of those who enjoy exceptional wine, fine dining and mutual camaraderie.

• La Cofradia del Vino: As a corporate member of Ecuador’s elite wine tasting society, Casa Ceibo joins other first-class hotels, resorts, clubs, restaurants and Ecuadorian organizations in their appreciation for the finest wines in the world.

• Condé Nast Johansen's 2012 Awards for Excellence : Casa Ceibo is proud to be this year's finalist for the category, Most Excellent Eco Resort for the region of South America. This elite recognition represents the very best of the best from among the top properties of fhe Americas, Atlantic, Caribbean, and Pacific Islands.
