While guests relax amid the unforgettable luxury of Casa Ceibo, an international gold-medal chef and his team of chefs are busy whipping up gourmet recipes to satisfy palates that appreciate local cuisine with a worldly flair. Peruvian-born and author of the book, “Afrodisiaco,” Hugo Jimenez relishes in preparing Casa Ceibo’s every meal from scratch, using only the finest ingredients. The result is an undeniably fresh, authentic gourmet experience.
Jimenez’s Pan-American background collides with a Pacific coastal influence, resulting in a cornucopia of culinary creations. Every taste is like an exciting surprise, from Casa Ceibo’s soups and fresh-baked breads to exquisite entrees, decadent desserts and succulent pastries. Paired with the perfect choice of our hand-selected wines or a favorite flavor of shade-grown Ecuadorian coffee, the cuisine itself is worth a visit to Casa Ceibo.
Most recently, Jimenez is the gold-medal winner of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association’s Alligator Signature Competition. In addition to myriad awards and recognition, Jimenez also received top honors for his culinary talents in Copa Culinaria Ecuador’s summer 2009 competition. Working alongside Jimenez are four experienced chefs, including Walter Sellan, Narcisa Montes and Fernando Aveiga. Each has been skillfully trained to prepare Casa Ceibo dishes with extraordinary style and taste.
