Casa Ceibo is conveniently located about an hour’s drive from the Manta airport in Ecuador’s coastal Manabí region. Do I need vaccinations?
Typically, vaccinations are not necessary for traveling to the Manta region of Ecuador and visiting Casa Ceibo. However, it’s important for guests to consult the requirements of their country before visiting. Are mosquitoes a problem?
About the hotel pool, gardens and waterfront, mosquitoes are generally not a nuisance. However, it’s always a good idea to bring insect repellant, which is a must for the popular excursions into the mangrove and dry, tropical forests. Malaria profilactics are not necessary for this region of the country, although important for Casa Ceibo guests who plan to visit other areas of Ecuador, such as the Amazon basin.
